To celebrate the 150th anniversary of St John’s in 1982, Mr J G Jackson B.A., a Licensed Lay Reader and an Honorary Secretary of the diocesan synod, wrote a booklet providing an outline of the history and development of St John’s.
The booklet remains a valuable and helpful source of information to parishioners, friends and visitors.
